The app is designed to work with the Memo Pad and Memo Clip, which are Bluetooth® Low Energy anti-abandonment devices fastened to Peg Perego child seats. The devices detect the presence of a child and reduce the risk of accidentally leaving a child unattended in a car.
Memo Pad is suitable for Peg Perego child seats for children aged 0 to 4 years, while Memo Clip is designed for i-Size child seats for children aged 40 to 105 cm. The app pairs with the devices via Bluetooth® and sends a smartphone alert (sound alarm) if a child is left unattended in the car. If the alert is ignored, the app will send a text message to two pre-set telephone numbers, specifying the car’s geographic coordinates.
